Oral comprehension test

For each question, you will hear an audio message.

For each question, there are 3 or 4 choices.

There is only one correct answer.

The message will play twice. Answer the question by clicking on the correct choice. You can answer the question after listening to it a second time.

You can change your answer as long as you haven't clicked "Suivant".

Five seconds after the second time the message plays, the test will automatically move on to the next question.

Answer the questions without help from another person, a dictionary or a translation tool.

Don't leave any questions unanswered. Answer all questions to the best of your ability.

Sometimes, an audio message may have two questions. In that case, answer both questions about the same audio message.

At the end, you will receive a score based on the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français (Québec scale of French proficiency levels – in French only).

There are between 18 and 22 questions, depending on your answers.

Thank you!
