Welcome to the French self-assessment
This online self-assessment tool is intended for adults for whom French is not their first language. It will allow you to be placed in a French class and can guide you in choosing a learning service. It is offered here on an experimental basis, free of charge by Francisation Québec. The results are based on the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français (Québec scale of French proficiency levels – in French only). They aren’t official results to be included with an immigration application or an application for admission to an educational institution.
